On 21 March 2022 Ghent University celebrated the 15th Anniversary of the China Platform in the presence of the Rector of Ghent University, Prof. Rik Van de Walle and H.E. Mr. Cao Zhongming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Belgium. We were also very happy that all the partners from the “Strategic Partnership China” were present as well as many students, researchers and staff from Ghent University (both Belgian and Chinese) and some Belgian and Chinese companies.

During this celebration Prof. Luc Taerwe, Director of the China Platform also presented the new book of the China Platform. This third book does not only provide a comprehensive introduction about the China Platform and all its activities but also provides a nice overview of all the agreements of Ghent University with its partners in China and contains many success stories about the UGent-China cooperation with our 11 faculties.
