Energy Efficiency in Agriculture
Energy consumption by agriculture only represents a small part of the total final energy use in Europe. Moreover, energy consumption in agriculture has decreased rapidly in the last 20 years. There is however a big different among EU member states. There is not a single solution to improve energy efficiency in agriculture. For every production process, a combination of different measures will be optimal.
