Border as “Opportunity”: Informal Cattle Trade across the Bangladesh-India Borders

The principal objective of the project is to understand the existing nature of informal cattle trade across Bangladesh-India borders and to explore the actors and networks evolved around this trade. It also attempts to critically examine how informal cattle trade creates range of opportunities to different stakeholders. Additionally, the research aims to contribute to the policy levels by identifying impacts of informal cattle trade on Bangladesh-India bilateral relations.
