Woldegebriel Dagne is a doctoral researcher at the Migration Law Research Group, University of Ghent. His PhD is sponsored by the NASCERE joint scholarship program of University of Ghent and Jimma University. His research interests incline towards the analysis of human rights from private law perspectives. He is experienced in doctrinal and socio-legal researches. His PhD research domain is on the Interplay of the EU externalization policies on migration and domestic mechanisms in Ethiopia. His research is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ellen Desmet, Dr. Milena Belloni and Ruben Wissing.
Woldegebriel studied Bachelor in Laws and LLM in Commercial and Investment Laws at Jimma University, Ethiopia. Before starting his doctoral research Woldegebriel has worked as a law lecturer at Jimma University and Mettu University.
